I’m sorry to hear that Susan, you might ask her if using Stevia is allowed. It is a natural sweetener that is safe for everyone. As far as your aunt goes, I’m afraid the dr is right, sugar does feed cancer, but again, maybe Stevia is a safer alternative. It is made form the leaves of the stevia plant. It is ten times sweeter than sugar, so you need less. It also comes in bags, Pyure brand has a crystalized stevia in a bag that measures like sugar for baking, etc. That’s what I use to sweeten my tea and baked goods. Good luck with managing your symptoms and keep me posted on what the dr. says.
