Response to How Bad Can You Be- a creative challenge

Zac Wolff for Unsplash

I always had it for the bad boys

Motorcycles, fast cars, and other toys

Rad leather outfits, high heels, and skirts

I was a rebel in rock t-shirts

Mad at the world at times, it seemed

Kept chasing something, living the dream

Always longing for what was forbidden

Keeping the good parts of me hidden

Never really got myself in a pickle,

Well, that’s not true, and ain’t love is fickle?

Not so bad anymore, motorcycle days are over,

Not mad either, but life’s not a bed of clover.

Nevermore to congregate with all the wild people

These days more likely to find me under the steeple

More likely to conjugate with hubby and friends

Life’s been great, and that’s where it ends!

May or may not be based on a true story. ;)

Thanks to Marilyn Flower for the inspiration to pull me from my studies for just a little while.
