Pain, Pain, Go Away!

A painful one-line response to Fọlábòmí Àmọ̀ó.

If I resort to crawling

Would that ease my pain

No relief in sight

All I try seems in vain.

Wah 😩 poor me, my sciatic nerve is killing me, so the prompt for today really hit the ‘spot’! My right side had been numb ever since the incident that started all this nonsense, but since yesterday, the pain has been so severe, my right foot is screaming too. So I stretched, walked, bent, and I’m all out of ideas except sit or lay and try not to think about it.

Oh, by the way, happy Cinco de Mayo! Right now I could crawl for a margarita 🧉 😛😘 (No margarita emoji, boo!)

Thanks as always to Kathy, Harper, and the whole Chalkboard team 😊
